Received some sad news today with the passing of a long time student and friend, Shirley Williams. Shirley had been with Studio 316 for close to ten years until health issues prohibited her from coming, producing several beautiful watercolor paintings during that time. She was such a sweet, modest, talented lady, really pleasant to be around. She will be greatly missed by us all. It’s been a privilege to be her art teacher and friend. Below is one of her last paintings she’d completed back in 2016, seemed appropriate.
